How much do you cost?
One Night Stand provide a tailor made service for each event and this means pricing can vary due to a number of factors such as length of set time, distance or lighting rig requirements. Therefore we will be happy to discuss with you personally an accurate quote for your wedding or event. please contact gaye@hireaband.co.uk or stu@onsfb.com
How do I secure my booking?
Once you get in touch with us to enquire if we are available, we will reserve the date for you subject to you sending in our booking form and deposit. Once these are recieved your booking will be secure. We guarentee to honour this agreement and keep this date for you regardless of anyone else enquiring.

How long do you play for?
One Night Stand's standard performance time is between 8pm and 12am allowing also for a half hour break. This is normally taken during your evening buffet in which the band can play background music. Earlier start times or later finish times can be arranged prior to your event at extra cost, please ask about this when booking or getting a quote.

When do you arrive?
For every wedding and function we will always arrive at least one hour before the start of the event to allow us enough time to unload our equipment, set up, sound check and get changed ready to play.
We'll be having our meal in the room you will be playing in. When will you set-up your equipment? Will it disrupt our meal?
Normally there is a turn around of the room to allow staff to clear tables and prepare for evening guests arriving. The band will use this time to set up equipment so not to disturb any part of your day.
Can you learn our special first song?
If your first dance is not a song we know or part of our set list we will be happy to learn it for you, it is after all YOUR special day. If you do require us to learn a song it must be with at least 2 months notice prior to your event. Please don't hesitate to give us a buzz to discuss this.

Can I add songs to the set list?
Have a look through our list and you can let us know if there are any songs you definitely DO NOT want us to play. However, we are very experienced at choosing the right song for the right time to keep the party going, so we would prefer to be left to do our job as well as we can by having the freedom to choose our set as we go.
Can we request you to play past 12am?
One Night Stand's normal playing hours extend to 12am, however later finish times can be arranged prior to your event at an extra cost. Please ask about this when booking or getting a quote.
Do you have your own stage lights?
Yes. As part of One Night Stand's equipment inventory as well as a top of the range sound system we will include stage lights to add to the evening's entertainment.
What equipment do you provide?
One Night Stand use QSC K12 Active Speakers Plus K12 Active Subs. Whether it be a small intimate venue such as The Piersland or a large function room like The Radisson Hotel, sound quality is never a problem. We use an electric Roland TD-9 Drum Kit to allow us to balance the sound to as quiet or loud as needed.
Do the band need a changing room?
Yes, the band require somewhere within your venue to change and leave personal belongings. It doesn't have to be a hotel room, just somewhere clean, tidy and private.

What will you wear?
The band will arrive for set up with One Night Stand uniforms (Branded polo-shirt) and will perform smartly dressed in dress trousers, shirts and ties. Please see our pictures section to see how we dress.

How long of a break do you take?
We normally will take a 30 minute break during our set. This is normally taken during your evening buffet. During this time we can provide background music or you may want to provide your own playlist on an MP3 player if you wish.
