One Night Stand Terms and Conditions.

 

Please read carefully our terms and conditions document, which will apply to every booking taken by the band, these terms and conditions apply to the hirer. 

 

Booking One Night Stand Function Band

 

Fees:
One Night Stand Function Band require private clients to pay a deposit when booking entertainment for weddings, corporate events or private functions. This deposit is normally the equivalent of 10% of the overall fee. This deposit is non refundable (One Night Stand will only refund a deposit payment when the engagement has been cancelled by us, in this case, the full deposit will be refunded immediately). Deposits must be received before we can officially secure any contract. 

 

Final Balance:
The final balance fee for any private engagement must be received by us on or before the date of any engagement. Final Balance fees are usually paid in cash on the night, however other payment term may be available on request. The final balance amount is made clear in each contract. 

 

Cancellation:
In the unlikely event of the band cancelling the agreement due to injury etc. One Night Stand Function Band will endeavor to offer you an alternative entertainer of similar size, style and cost, if this is unacceptable, One Night Stand Function Band will offer you a full refund. One Night Stand Function Band reserve the right to use replacement members should existing band members suffer illness or injury on the day, or days leading up to the function. 

 

Our contract agreements are designed to offer protection to both the entertainer and the hirer. We reserve the right to claim statutory interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate at the date the debt becomes overdue in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. As a hirer you can request to cancel a contract agreement, however the following charges will apply:

 

If you Cancel:

0-7 Days from engagement 100% of the agreed fee

8-14 Days from engagement 80% of the agreed fee

15-90 Days from engagement 60% of the agreed fee

91-180 Days from engagement 50% of the agreed fee

181 + Days (Deposit Fee Only)

 

The above cancellation fees are an important part of our agreement and are accepted by the hirer on receipt of our contract. All cancellation fees must be paid within 10 days of cancelling the engagement.

 

Performance Times:

The performance time of the band is specified in each contract. Please note that contracted start times are based on the band having access to the performance area 1 hour before the contracted start time. Please note that the band are not responsible for hotel overuns and are not obliged to play beyond the contracted finish time

 

Contracts & Agreements:

Every One Night Stand Function Band verbal agreement is formalised with a written contract. This protects both you the client and us the entertainers. On receipt of our contract, the document should be signed and emailed or posted back to us by return. 

 

Business and Corporate Clients:

Our business and corporate clients are also subject to our terms and conditions. The only exceptions are: In the event of us agreeing with a client to provide an entertainer and subsequently invoice them after the engagement takes place, the hirer must settle our invoice strictly on 28 Days.

 

First Dance and Set List:

One Night Stand Function Band have a vast array of songs to suit a wide taste of music. One Night Stand Function Band will endevour to learn your first dance for your special day prior to 1 months notice. 

 

Expenses:
Where the hirer has agreed to cover additional expenses (i.e. accommodation, travel) they must be paid to One Night Stand prior to the date of the event. These expenses will be clearly marked out in the contract. 

 

Use of Alternative or (‘Deputy’ or ‘Dep’) Performers:

Wherever possible One Night Stand will utilise the line-up as represented to the hirer, unless the need arises to substitute a performer due to unforeseen circumstances. One Night Stand will have ‘Dep’ performers ‘on-call’ to cover all eventualities and reserves the right to use one or more of these should the need arise. One Night Stand agrees that any ‘Dep’ performers utilised will have equivalent ability and represent One Night Stand to the customary manner in which we have portrayed ourselves to the hirer.

 

If a suitable ‘Dep’ performer is available, One Night Stand will utilise them rather than cancel the booking. A reduction in fee for the use of a ‘Dep’ performer is not applicable and neither does it constitute grounds for cancellation unless the ‘artist’ being replaced is of significant celebrity.

 

On occasion, band line-ups may be subject to change and this may occur without notice unless the band is of significant celebrity.
